| #1 Noble Arbor - The key to the opening hole is to favour the left side off the tee, right side rough is red staked. A slightly elevated green requires your second shot to carry all the way home. 360° Virtual Tour of Hole #1 |
#2 Birch Grove - At first look this seems to be a relatively easy par 3, however beware of the trees and bunkers on the left. Being on the right plateau of this 3 tiered green is of great importance. |
#3 The Shute - A short par 4 that you may take to the green. A well hit ball is left centre of the fairway over the trap. This tight fairway slopes to the right and rolls into the trees. Watch for the magnetic green that breaks left to right severely. |
#4 Kokanee Glacier - A short par 4 gives the appearance of left to right dogleg, don't be fooled, the left side is safer by far. Trees to the right have a "Bermuda Triangle" reputation. The sloped green will release and run more than expected. |
#5 Poop Deck - The most challenging hole on the course! A blind drive with traps lining the fairway and a lateral hazard on the left. If the tee shot lacks good distance then lay up to the creek. Strong players can go for the green on the 2nd shot but beware of the well bunkered long narrow green. 360° Virtual Tour of Hole #5 |
#6 Crows Nest - Long hitters can reach this par 5 in two but it's of prime importance to know when to try and when not to. If your not long off the tee you must decide how to clear the creek and land in the flat fairway in front of this highly raised green. 360° Virtual Tour of Hole #6 |
#7 TamOShanter - Our most difficult par 3...even though it's wide open. A very demanding tee shot must carry to the correct plateau of this three tiered green. Putting up or down these tiers can take its toll. Pitching on to this green from either side requires great skill and good fortune. |
#8 Tinkers Grave - This par 5 can be reached in two good shots by strong players. Beware of the hazard all the way along the left. Aim tee shot at the purplish tree in distance or right of centre. This large sloped green can have challenging pin placements. |
#9 Hazel May - A very sneaky par 4/5, as in most cases a tee shot in the fairway is essential. The right side is open, the left is jail. A long drive invites you to go for the green but there is a creek short to the left and a pond to the right. Most play smart and lay up. |
#10 Wilderness Retreat - An elevated tee tempts you to let out the shaft, however there is only one place to thit the ball...dead straight, as there are acres of trees both left and right. A well trapped tricky green awaits and shows no mercy. |
#11 Satan's Woodbox - The strategy on this pretty par 3 is easy...hit the green or you're in deep trouble. The trap up front is relentless, the other's no better. A roller coaster green makes for an interesting putt no matter where you end up. |
#12 Big Bend - The perfect tee shot would be to place it dead centre in the throat of the dogleg, trying to cut the corner is disaster as there is a deceiving inlet. The slightly elevated green requires the ball be carried all the way with your 2nd shot. |
#13 Dobies Pass - Lots of room to the right, including the driving range which is not OB. From the left side you must be wary of the fruit trees. Another elevated green requries that your 2nd shot be air-mailed all the way home. |
| #14 Penninsula - Hit tee shot anywhere but left...straight ahead is best. RIght side can be forgiving but your second shot has no room for error right or left. Traditionally our fastest green especially from back to front. 360° Virtual Tour of Hole #14 |
#15 Willowbrook - An open tee shot here. The right side of fairway is perfect placement. A small creek guards the front of the green and is magnetic to those who try to run it up. |
#16 The Fort - This pretty little par 3 should give opportunity to make up strokes. The pond does not come into play. Some putts from the sides may actually turn uphill. Many "Aces" have been had on this beautiful hole. 360° Virtual Tour of Hole #16 |
#17 Lombardy Lane - A par 5 which very few can reach in two. From the tee, beware of the tree wall on the left and creek on the right. Try to stay centre throughout the hole and clear of the apple tree in front of the green. This triple tier green demands your full attention. |
#18 Apple Island - Long ball hitters should be aware of the water on the left. Second shots are longer than you think due to the extremely large green. Multiple putts are the rule rather than the exception, so don't let your concentration lapse on this final hole. . . 360° Virtual Tour of Hole #18 |
